SonicMood v4.9.1
SonicMood isn't pre-recorded
music
like you find on
records and CDs
like you find on
records and CDs
It’s more
like “Mood Chimes,” notes which vary like chimes
blown by the wind. The patterns never repeat and
are gentle, soothing, and harmonious.
There
are 28 different sets of “chimes” using different
instruments, including bells, crystals, kalimbas,
glockenspiels, violins, and many others. Audio
files of nature sounds are added to each of the 28
pre-defined Moods, plus you can edit them and add
your own. You won’t find anything
like this in conventional music.
This is
"Rhythmically
Homogeneous" music!
The "iTunes-like" user interface makes using SonicMood a breeze! The lists of Moods are like iTune's song list, the Themes are similar to iTune's PlayLists.
Drag & drop allows for reordering of Moods, Themes, and Scenes. You can have "Shuffle" play where Moods are chosen and played at random. Use the space bar to pause/play, command-left and command-right arrow keys to move back and forward between Moods, command-up/command-down for volume, etc. Resize its window from small to large, or "Zoom" it to a very compact size.
If you don't like what you hear, it's easy to change. Just bring up the "Mood Info/Edit" window (press the
button) and let
your creativity take over!
SonicMood lets you adjust the sound as you wish. For each "Mood", you can select the musical instrument and the nature soundfiles, vary the note timing, select another musical scale or change key, create your own scale, and move the sounds around in the stereo soundfield. SonicMood provides for manual and dynamic sound motion.
To record both instruments and soundfiles, use a third-party application like RogueAmoeba's AudioHiJack Pro. You could add the resulting file to iTunes, copy to your iPod, or even include with some of your own compositions. See the FAQ for more information.

Even display
realistic-looking chimes which move to the
sound, and "Mood Colors"which light up when
notes sound. Make up your own "Moods" using
128 different instruments and custom
soundfiles. Save and load sets of Moods - keep
a set of "happy" Moods and a set of
"thoughtful" Moods, or organize them in
"Themes" (5 themes are pre-defined to get you
started).
And SonicMood always remembers your control settings and menu selections.
